Low Sugar, Low Calorie Snacks

Hey guys how are you all? So my biggest battle is my food vs my body, shoutout to all you other people struggling with this! I don’t mean like my body doesn’t like food, because i really do like food, like a lot and that’s the problem. If i eat even like a square of chocolate my face erupts with spots, it’s bluming annoying, but even worse i’m a sugar addict and i constantly snack so i’ve been trying to find low sugar things that will not make my feel deprived. Guys i’m also lazy so ya know minimum effort required. I’m literally just putting myself down but it’s true i’m not going to lie.

Trail mix..

I love trail mix but i find shop ones just aren’t sweet enough for me. Bad right? So i’ve made my own, it’s not completely sugar free but it doesn’t ruin my skin, i’ve also given you a chance to boost up the sugar if you’re one of the ‘lucky ones’.


2 tbs sunflower seeds

1 tbs pumpkin seeds

1 handful of shreddies or you favourite cereal

1/2 tsp cinnamon

5 chopped dates

1 tsp sesame seeds

then chocolate chunks if you want.

 Peanut butter balls

These are only for peanut butter lovers because they are a bit strong, but alternatively you can use honey. The peanut butter i used was from whole earth as it contains no sugar or rubbish and is by far my favourite. This uses exactly the same recipe as the trail mix but no sesame seeds.

6 tsp peanut butter one for each ball


Apple crisps


I LOVEE these takes me back to being 5 again you guys they’re so good! They are also like a 5 a day so parents can’t be like woah hold back on the food. They’re so simple to make just take more time than the other.

1 apple cored and sliced thinly 

cook for an hour at 110 degrees and you’re done


 Ice cream

I ate all of this before i took a photo sorry but it looked lush. I’m actually lactose intolerant so i find it hard to find ice creams sugar free and still nice. So i just made my own, i used an ice cream maker if you don’t have one just freeze it for 4 hours stirring in-between.

2 cans of coconut cream

5 dates chopped small

1 pound of strawberries blended

Blend everything together then if you have an ice cream maker put it in for 45 mins then freeze until serving or just eat it, i’m not going to judge i do it a lot.

Sorry guys this isn’t amazing i’m very clearly not a cook i hope some of these may be helpful maybe but yeah if you want more detail don’t be afraid to comment. DIY Pamper Night

Hey lovelys hope you’re a lovely weekend, today i wanted to bring you my pamper routine to give you easy quick diys, and inspire you to try out some. Now back me up who like me always plans pamper nights but realistically never gets round to them? ¬†But, when i do i lovee them so i’m going to try and make time! This is a diy as personally i don’t want to go out and spend loads of fancy pamper products when ill probably use them 3 times a month, ok who am i kidding more like once but yeah, so i’ve made these all diys incase anyone wanted to recreate them. Ps guys they literally cost nothing so win win situation.

So to start off i run a bath, while it’s running i remove my makeup and light some candles. Today i was using a candle from Tiger and coconut vanilla from Primark, but i always use different ones so chose your favourites. Then i added some bath salts from Westlab and Snape Maltings bath milk for bubbles, finally a bath bomb from lush i used Butterbear tonight.


Normally ill listen to music or watch youtube as it gives me something to do and youtube is my life so why not. Like normal i do the whole shave the legs, wash the hair and body routine with alot of bad singing. To clean my body i use my lush shower jelly i’m going to tell you a story so for the longest time i used to never use it because i couldn’t work it out. I used to try and wash myself with bits that i ripped off and they’d just fly every where it was so annoyingg but did make me laugh. I didn’t understand the hype till now when my friend told me how to use it and now i’m in love, so thanks Rosie. For my hair i use Garnier the marvellous transformer shampoo, and Pantene repair and protect conditioner. Can i just say this shampoo is a miracle worker it has sorted my damage hair out so well and fast, and you guys it smells amazing!


When i eventually get out of the bath i wash my face with my Vichy cleaners then exfoliate my face.


1tbs brown sugar (granulated not powder)

1tsp raw honey

Commonly people use baking powder DON’T i repeat DON’T this disrupts your natural skin barrier and acid mantle as it’s an alkaline causing your skin to become damaged, dry and acnefied. ¬†Raw honey is an amazing antibacterial it fights spots and brightens your skin whilst holding the exfoliator together. The brown sugar is a soft exfoliate for sensitive skin therefore if your skin is really dry i don’t recommend this, alternatively you could use sea salt.

Then i move onto face masks; i love face masks but as my skin is so sensitive i never find ones gentle enough even lush ones break me out so i’ve just made it myself and it works dreams. This is so simple i have 2 that i use the most that actually really work. i’ve tried alot and these are my favourites. I’m also thinking of making a post on diy face masks please let me know if this would be helpful please.

1tbsp cocoa powder

1tsp water-add more if you find this isn’t enough

apply a thick layer and wash off after 20 mins


A large dollop of raw honey

I’ve been over the benefits of raw honey so i wont bore you with that but if you want more information comment below. Cocoa powder is my favourite because it looks the best and leaves my face soft and smelling like chocolate. It prevents acne and fights ageing as is rich in antioxidants. I only tried this mask a couple of days ago and i fell in love, my spots literally shrunk within 20 mins.


while i leave this on i put on my hair mask

large dollop (depending on hair length) of coconut oil melted

rub it through the ends of your hair after towel drying

So i kind of have a egg phobia explaining why i don’t use a egg based mask but if you’re not weird like me and don’t mind raw egg, i’m ok with cooked egg just yeah not raw, then this is a good recipe

two egg yolks

1tsp coconut/olive/avocado oil


I relax while these are on or dance i’m not going to pretend i don’t but depends on my mood. When i’ve washed these off i moisturise my face with my Nivea men post shave balm you could use to coconut oil instead. Moisturising is the most important step for me as my skin is like the bluming Sahara desert. For my body i use body shop Shea body butter. When these have sunk in i put tea tree oil on my spots, then go and watch tele.

How to survive mocks

Hey guys so right now i’m in the middle of my year 10 mocks and omgg it’s stressful i can’t imagine how people doing A-levels are feeling right now! That’s why i haven’t been active sorry i’ve been drowning in revision. This is a list of things that i find helpful and will help you survive ish, well i don’t know maybe but i’m going to try.

  1. Make a timetable i know it seems like a lot of effort but i promise it really helps.

¬† ¬† ¬† 2.Don’t be so hard on yourself! I tend to beat myself up about not knowing much and i ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬†know realise it’s not really my fault i’m dumb ill blame it on my parents. I’m kidding i ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬†love them but seriously it wont come straight away and if it does you lucky person! ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬†Give it a while.

¬† ¬† ¬†3. Take breaks there’s no point working for hours if you’re miserable well more miserable then you would normally be doing revision

¬† ¬† ¬†4. Start early so you have less to do before the exam i don’t mean getting up at like 4 in the morning and stop at 8 i mean start like a month before so you don’t have to cram it all in the night before

¬† ¬† ¬†5.Don’t be a revision zombie keep doing things you love you don’t have to give them up ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† because of revision.

    6.Stick post it notes EVERYWHERE when i have exams i have them in the shower on mirrors not going to lie on the toilet lid as well

¬† ¬† 7. Find good revision music to keep you concentrated i don’t have a specific album i like trancy music personally i cant deal with music with lyrics cause i turn all beyonce and unfortuantley that doesn’t give my a GCSE, so i just tend to type in study music into music.

   8.Reward yourself, you deserve some reward after all the torture of revision


      I put a sweet at the end of my page lets be real more like 5 after each chunk of reading i         find it helps me concentrate and get through all the work.

¬† ¬†9.Find support, i found it really helps to rant at my mum or friends just to get over my ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† stress, having moral support got me through cause you know if you’re all struggling it’s better than just you. That sounded kind of mean but do you get me?

10.BE CONFIDENT i struggle a lot with confidence so it’s probably a bit ironic i’m saying ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬†this, but seriously if you’re confident you’re automatically are going to do better, trust ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬†me when i feel like i can do something i can but if i don’t well then i’m stuffed. So ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬†guys believe in yourself because it’s not the end of the world if you mess up so just try ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬†your best.

Sorry this was a bit miss matchy but as i said at the start i’m really stressed and don’t have a lot time at the moment but it will be in a week! I just wanted to get something out for you guys hope it’s ok.
