Who says you cant wear yellow?

Hello ny lovelies so recently i was in kiko and i saw this bright yellow and i was just like i’ve got to have it its stunning! My mum said she didnt think it would suit me and it would look silly, so i decided to get it and prove her wrong and im so glad i did.

This wont be everyones cup of tea as they say but hope you enjoy anyways.

First i started with my urban decay primer potion in eden then my bronzer as a transition colour. I blended tiki hut by makeup geek into my crease and half way across my lid. I darkened this with a dark orangy brown from my morphe 35W palette, then a cool toned brown colour on the outer corner of my eye. For the lid i took the shade 19 from kiko (the yellow), then a champagne high light in my inner corner also from kiko in the shade 16. To finish of i created a wing with my seventeen black eyeliner and tight lined my top and bottom lashes with a brown liner from maybelline in the shade matte occhi. After running tiki hut along my lower lash line i applied my lash sensational mascara and i was done.

Thankyou for reading hope you enjoyed; oh and what would you like to see next a q&a or a challenge?

Simple eyeshadows 2

Hello my lovelies, how are you all? i decided to bring back the 3 simple eyeshadow looks as you guys all seemed to love them so i thought in honour of 1000 followers it would be perfect. YES i know right 1000 followers!!  I can’t thank you guys enough it is insane, i really dont know why you are all here but i’m so glad you are. Thankyou again!

So as the point of this is the eyeshadow is simple and easy to recreate i’ve used only a few products and simple methods to keep it quick.

For the first look i created a pink toned casual glam eye look which in my opinion is vey minimal but is still gorgeous and look tricky even though its simple. I used urban decay primer potion in eden and then placed unexpected in my crease from makeup geek, next i used my naked 3 palette. Over the top of this i buffed in Nooner taking this in the outer third of my lid as well. Finally i put dust in my inner third and a makeup revolution peach lights on my inner corner,  and that is it super simple and quick.

For the next look and possiby the simplest after my primer potion  i put my natural bronzer from rimmel in the crease as a transition colour, then darkened it with a browny orange from my Morphe 35M palette. then for my lid colour i took my inglot eyeshadow i shade 157 all over the lid and lower lash line. With a pencil brush i put black on my outer rim and top lash line for subtle sexy smokeyness.  Finally i put a shimmery white shadow in the inner corner.

This look is still bronzey but darker so perfect for a more glam look but its still as easy. First i primed my eyes with urban decay primer potion in eden, for this look i will be using my Zoeva caramel melange palette, first i took the shade universal direct as transition shade then finish sensual on top of that and on the outer third of my lid. To darken the crease and lid i took edible gem and buffed than in until i got it as dark as i wanted. Also i ran that shade along the the lower lash line stopping half way and instead putting a shimmery white highlight. On the lid i put liquid centre then applied mascara and thats it.

Thankyou so much for leading hope you enjoyed if you recreate any of them tag me in the photos on instagram, have a lovely day. Oh and HAPPY NEW YEAR hope 2017 is good to you and you have an amazing year!!

For Girly Days

Hello my lovelies, how are you all?

So i got challenged by  Glossier  which is a modern day beauty brand in America selling skin and beauty products to think about how i could do  #glossierpink, based on their pinterest board which is beautiful like their products. Its insane they asked me to be part of it i cant believe it so of course i was like yess, so created a girly vibed post as pink screams girly to me and is obviously in the hashtag. So this is 3 causual girly outfits and a girly glam makeup look, hope you enjoy thankyou.

The outfits…

So im not going to lie to you but im not a big pink clothes fan but after this i feel like i should branch out and add colour into my wardrobe.

Denim pinafore from newlook

Pink shiny top from H&M

Nike Air Max Theas

This isnt pink i know sorry but i still think its very pretty and perfect for a girly and classy look.

Tan boots from Newlook

Black high waisted disco jeans also from Newlook

Blue over lay top from Bershka

Pink top from Topshop

Blue denim skirt from H&m

Black suede pumps from H&M

The makeup…

So for this look i went for a pink eyes with glossy lips because #glossierpink.. i know i know sorry. Anyways i started with the natural collection green corrector on my problem areas, so all over my face pretty much then applied a morphe conclear over the top to set it as my foundation is powder.

Next i buffed in my Bare minerals blemish ready foundation. On top of that i applied concealer to the areas i wanted to highlight and set it with a white glowy eyeshadow, i highly reccommend using an eyeshadow under your eyes if you’re vampire pale like me. Then i contoured/bronzed up my face with my makeup revolution golden sugar highlight palette.

Now onto the fun bits, i used my Anastasia dip brow dark brown on a small pointed brush by morphe to apply false freckles all over my nose and cheeks. I chose this because uts cute and girly and ive been loving it for summer. A good tip when you’re doing this is once you’re done go over it with left over foundation on your brush to make them appear more natural. Also you can darken any beauty spots/moles to make your foundation seem less full coverage, and trick the eyes into thinking you’re naturally flawless!

For the blush and highlight i used my makeup revolution sugar and spice palette and took the hot pink blush on the apples of my cheek. Using the pink reflected highlight in the palette i put this on my cheek bones, and a whiter one on my nose and cupids bow.

For the main part of course the eyes and brows, i placed a concealer from morphe from my brow bone to lid then set it with a white eyeshadow to hold my eyeshadow in place. I ran unexpected by makeup geek through my crease as a transition colour and then ontop and in the outer third of my eye i blended the hot pink blush i previously used. To darken up the crease i took makeup geeks bitten eyeshadow, and on a small fluffy brush and placed that in the outer v blending into the crease. To blend out the harsh lines i took unexpected again and blended the eyeshadows together, then as a shimmer which every girl needs in her life i took dusty from the Naked 3 palette. To finish off the eyes i followed the same order of colours and placed them on my lower lash line keeping bitten on the outer third close to the lashes. Finally i applied my lash sensational mascara and filled in my eyes brows with my Anastasia dip brow.

For my lips i took carmex and applied a thick layer to hydrate my lips and keep them looking plump all day. Alternatively you could use Glossiers Balm Dotcom which i have no tried as you cant get it in the UK sadly but i have heard is amazing and it contains mainly natural ingrediants which is hard to find! If any of you do check it out please let me know your thoughts.

By creating the post and suggesting to use glossier products, it was based on the fact ive heard amazing reviews and the products do look beautiful. I have not used them as they dont ship to me, but i thought since you most of you lived in the USA i thought you might be interested in checking them out. Thankyou for reading have a lovely week!

Casual Glam GRWM

Hello my lovelies, how are you all? Sorry it feels like ages since i’ve sat down and written a blog for you guys last time i did it i was doing my GCSEs now its thr summer holidays! Woo i love summer ice creams, beaches, parties, the clothes i mean guyss whats not to love comment your favorite season below. Anyways this is my current casual glam makeup it’s kind of my everyday makeup but i dont wear full makeup everyday if i do this is what i go for.

So first i start with my naked face my skin isn’t perfect but oh well its a working progress ive just changed my diet if that works (fingers crossed it does) i could do a in depth post on that? After washing and moisturizing my skin i move onto foundation. For foundation i use Urban Decay Naked skin foundation in shade 1.

I use 2-3 pumps of foundation all together depending on the coverage i need i normally build it up in the area i need most coverage. Then i go over my blemishes with mac prolong wear concealer. I then colour correct under mt eyes with an orangey concealer from the morphe 15  concealer pallete, with the same palette i also cream contour. Then set my face with my lancome face powder. Next i move onto the brows i know bit of a random order i fill them in with Anastasia dip brow in dark brown and spoolie them through.I think i probably said that in the wrong terms but sounds kind of cool.

Next i move on to my beloved rimmel natural bronzer in the shade sun bronze and define my cheeks more with the shiny bronze shade in my makeup revoltion palette golden sugar. And highlight with the white highlight from the same palette. For my blush i take the pink shade in my lancome eye set box thingy (rubbish description but you’ll see it in the photo)

Finally i move onto my eyes i use my new shades from inglot that i am in love with! I take the shade 157 (the red one) on my urban decay eyeshadow brush and buff this into the crease applying more until i reach the desired level of pigmentation. Although it anmoyingly doesnt show in the photos my crease was as red as the swatch i did on my arm. Next i take the golden orange shade number 55 in the outer third of my eye and on the middle third the shade 463 the softer gold creating an ombre effect with the peachy gold shade 9 in my inner corner. I finish with several coats of my maybelline luscious lash sensational mascara. And the same high light i used on my face to highlight my eyebrows. Before applying mascara to my bottom lashes i apply that red shade on the outer third on my lower lash line fading it towards the inner corner.

(Swatches in order of shade use)

As this is casual glam i normally finish my lips off with my snoopy carmex. Thankyou all for reading my next blog post will be between a tea party get ready with me a festival makeup look or a full face challenge video if you have any prefrences please let me know, because im a rubbish decider. Thankyou for reading have a lovely evening and week.

Simple eyeshadow looks

Hey guys feel like i haven’t wrote a post for ages sorry! These are 3 simple eye makeup looks i created for you guys for everyday purposes or nights out. I was thinking of making this into a series but doing different themes please let me know if that would be something you’re interested in. I tried to use affordable makeup for you guys so if you want to recreate this you can cheaply but i did use my naked 3 palette sorry. Hope you enjoy have a lovely mini holiday love you 💕 btw i’m no makeup artist let alone even good so sorry if they’re not amazing but i tried my best, also i’m wearing no face makeup if you were wondering about the spots.

This is my go to eye makeup at the moment but honestly it changed every week sometimes everyday to be honest. To do this i used the morphe 35w palette and the makeup revolution golden sugar palette.

First apply a concealer or primer to your lid then set with a creme shade
Run the tan shade through your crease
Then in the outer v place the tumerick and light brown shades blending well
Then do the exact same with the bronze from the makeup revolution palette
Going back to the morphe palette place the gold all over the lid
Finally place to white from the makeup revolution palette in you inner corner

For this i used my Morphe palette again and some glitter from strictly then topped it off with two layers of Primark ‘natural’ lashes. This isn’t my everyday makeup look i don’t normally wear glitter because i et it everywhere and it’s a right pain, but i does look beautiful so i used it today.
Apply concealer then set with the creme shade
Run the tan and tumerick through the crease
Place a brown over the top of that blending well
Put any glitter glue over the lid and apply a pink glitter (gold looks nice to)
Blend the edges out with a dark purple
Place a black in the outer v and run it along the lash line
Line your top lash line with a black liner
Then apply your lashes

For this look i used my naked 3 palette sorry but a good dupe is the collection eyes uncovered in nude rose. I also used my makeup revolution blush palette in sugar and spice.

Apply a concealer and set with ‘strange’
Run ‘nooner’ through your crease
On top add makeup revolution blush of your choice (i picked the bottom right)
Place dust allover your lid and you’re good to go!

Thankyou for reading guys sorry about the quality of the photos i broke my camera cause i’m dum like that. If you’re interested in how i did my brows i will be putting my brow routine up soon. Hope you found it alright see you next week.

The Power Of Makeup

Heya guys so today i’m bringing you a power of makeup. I always watch youtubers doing it and i’m like umm wheres the difference? So i decided to try it for myself, see if there really was that dramatic difference i thought of. Honestly i can’t say if there is, to me there is but to you there may not be.

My face the main difference is in my skin i naturally have very red skin so the foundation conceals that, and i have acne prone skin so it covers most imperfections, however i didn’t pick  up that well on the camera. Guys my phone literally offended me so much so there’s a beauty setting on my photos to blur out imperfections and mine was like 70%.. it’s automatic! Sorry bit off topic but come on bit harsh right?

I hate people saying oh you wear to much makeup, why is she dressing up she’s just going to the shops. Because honestly wear as much as you want, be as adventurous as you want it’s your face and your personality, no one should stop you expressing yourself it must be like a human right if not it should be! But yeah never let anyone make you feel stupid or over made up rock your skills of makeup and show them what you have, and be confident if makeup helps you do that don’t be afraid.

Makeup shouldn’t be used like a mask because everyone is their own kind of beautiful but instead makeup should be used to enhance natural beauty and break limits of creativity. Even if you hate your face there must be a feature you hate less? like i prefer my eyes and brows so i enhance them with bold shadows drawing attention away from yucky bits like my skin.

If you’ve got bad skin you can cover it up

If you’ve got chins or a chubby face contour them away

If you’ve got small lips over line them

If you’ve got a big nose contour that thing

If you’ve got spars brows draw them on

The sky is the limit you can completely change your face to how you want i view faces as blank canvases you can create a masterpiece. The product range and colours are endless just make sure what ever you do, makes you confident.

I was constantly picked at because of my skin people would always say digs about it because it was the only thing that really affected me. They probably didn’t mean it meanly but when you’re really self conscious little comments feel like big things. I know my skin is better than some now but it didn’t used to be, i think that now i’m so much more grateful for good skin days, and i feel as if i can empathise with people in the same position and i think that’s important it made me a more understanding person. So i guess what i’m trying to say is makeup gave me the confidence i’m gaining now when i had none and that’s a magical thing. Bad skin is a phase it will go don’t worry but it has taken 3 years for mine to get its act together and it’s still bad in people opinions, but what matters is my opinion and i’m proud of it.

I’m sorry this is kind of  weird post sorry i didn’t know what to include but i just thought it was important to tell you it’s ok to doubt yourself and turn to makeup just as long as it gives you your confidence back, but don’t hide behind it because makeup doesn’t change your face you have to have a beautiful base to make it beautiful. Anyone that steryotypes you for wearing loads stand up to them tell them what a miracle it can be, remember you’re the boss of your feelings, don’t let them effect you!

You’re beautiful message me if anyone says no and ill give them something to think about!
